Had a lovely stay where my dog was allowed to snuggle on the bed with a cozy blanket they provided. Each morning he got a 'doggie sausage' for breakfast! There’s also a great drying room for wet clothes and a lovely garden perfect for relaxing after a long day. The only hiccup was finding parking spots, but don’t miss out on the nearby car park that we later discovered—super handy! 🐶

Families will love this place
We had an amazing time staying here. The owners were incredibly friendly and gave us great tips for local hikes. It was so nice to have breakfast with homemade dishes, especially the fresh pastries they made every morning.
It wasn’t cheap, but the experience was still worth every penny.

Had a lovely stay with a tasty breakfast and a super cozy room that was perfect for winding down. There’s a nice sitting area and a neat garden to relax in after a day of exploring. The only hiccup was a bit of barking from dogs during breakfast, but it didn't ruin our experience. 😊

The Winchester House provided a warm, inviting atmosphere with well-appointed, spotlessly clean rooms. I appreciated the lovely décor and the comfortable seating areas, making it easy for me to relax after a day of exploring Keswick.
More seating arrangements in common areas would be nice.

Location right near the main street made it easy to explore town. The breakfast spread offered a hearty start to the day with various options, including some solid local products.
Parking on the street can feel like a game of cat and mouse, taking a lot of time to find a spot nearby, especially after a long journey. The room could have benefited from a few more convenient hanging options, as the tight space made it a hassle to access clothing. Plus, having pets in the dining area didn't sit right with me. that's a personal preference, but it impacted my overall experience.

Parking requires some effort to find a spot.

I had an enjoyable stay at Winchester House Bed & Breakfast. The room I got, the Double Room Dog Friendly, was spacious and clean. It felt welcoming and had nice amenities like a kettle and tea-making facilities. Breakfast options were delightful, especially with the vegetarian choices available. The hosts, Debbie and Ian, were exceptionally friendly. They provided local tips, which helped me a lot. One downside was the parking situation. finding a spot required a bit of effort. Despite that, my overall experience at the B&B was quite pleasant. I'd love to return for another visit.

Excellent position close to the vibrant main street. The breakfast features fresh fruit and a well-prepared cooked option, providing a great start to the day.
Parking presents a real challenge. Although free and available, it’s limited to on-street spaces which can feel like a game of chess, especially when unloading luggage from a couple of streets down. The heated towel rack was barely functioning during a cold snap, making the room noticeably chilly at times—not ideal for those not used to the cold. The prompt demand for payment upon arrival might catch you off guard. a little more breathing room would make for a smoother check-in. with the door locking mechanism taped down, guests are at risk of being stuck inside if no one is available to unlock it.
